The Plan
Palmetto Alliance for Family Court Reform is building a coordinated, citizen-led organization to advance family court reform through public education, legislative accountability, and grassroots participation.
Our Six Strategic Priorities
Statewide Media Presence
Develop coordinated social media campaigns, infographics, short-form videos, and opinion pieces to increase awareness of family court reform and developments in the legislature.
Grassroots Mobilization
Build a statewide network of citizens who receive regular legislative updates, participate in public hearings, contact their representatives, and attend community meetings.
Electoral Accountability
Inform voters about candidates' positions on family court reform, participate in public forums, and conduct lawful election-related advocacy where appropriate.
Legislative Report Cards
Publish annual grades evaluating legislators' sponsorship records, public positions, committee actions, and votes on family court reform, using transparent scoring criteria.
Statehouse Engagement
Meet directly with House and Senate legislators, present proposed reforms, request public statements of support, and document commitments and subsequent actions.
Sustainable Funding
Recruit donors and recurring supporters to fund research, communications, grassroots organizing, and legally compliant advocacy activities.
Transparency. Accountability. Citizen Participation.
Meaningful family court reform requires an informed and engaged public. We believe South Carolina citizens deserve to know where their elected officials stand—and what actions they take. If you think you can contribute to our strategic priorities in any way, please contact us!
